REFUNDS 
All Vet/Medical slips MUST be turned in by Tuesday, September 15. No refunds on the Office Charge. Stalls and RV are 100% fully refundable through September 17. 

Peewee are 9 years and younger (as of January 1, 2026) and cannot cross enter with any other division or compete on multiple horses. Trot or faster pace, no lead line unless you're trotting. 
Youth are 12 years and younger (from January 1, 2026). Youth can enter the open. 
Junior are 13 - 17 years (from January 1, 2026). Junior can enter the open.

Awards – Anyone receiving awards must be present and be in dress code for pictures. You can have someone pick up for you. We'll do our best to get awards to you after finals. Shipping will be recipients’ cost to cover. 

RULES 
1. NWBHA Competition Rules Apply 
2. There will be $30 charge for all NSF checks plus bank charges on all returned checks. 
3. Stalls are preassigned, no moving of stalls. Horses are not allowed to be tied to trailers overnight or in portable pens. 
4. No refunds without a medical release or a vet slip. Office charges will not be refunded. All Vet/Medical slips MUST be turned in by Tuesday September 15, 2026. No refunds on the Office Charge. 
5. NWBHA Dress Code will be enforced. Full length sleeved, collared shirt. Appropriate footwear, with heel must be worn if on horseback at any time. Hats and/or helmets required. Violations are subject to a $10 fine, all monies going to the hardship fund. 
6. A mandatory hat fine of $10 will be charged for a hat that comes off in the arena. All money from hat fines will go to hardship fund. 
7. There will be absolutely no entry from the center gate – all contestants must enter from the side gate. 
8. You will receive 3 gate calls – after that time the contestant will be disqualified. Each rider has 60 seconds to begin run, a $5 fine will be imposed if going over. Fine must be paid at the office by the end of the day. 
9. The show manager must approve all signs or banners. 
10. Contestants may change horses but will not be eligible for average awards. Must check in with the office, this is due to 2 different races (each day separate race). Horse substitutions must be made in the show office before you compete. 
11. No poor sportsmanship and/or horse abuse should be exhibited and will not be tolerated. 
12. All payout checks must be cashed within 180 days of date of issue, or they will become null and void. Replacement checks will not be issued. 
13. The PeeWee races will run after the Junior on Friday and after the Open on Saturday. Need only enter one race to receive a prize. PeeWees are 9 years and younger (as of January 1, 2026) and cannot cross enter with any other division or compete on multiple horses. Trot or faster pace, no lead line unless you're trotting. 
14. Youth are 12 years and younger (from January 1, 2026). Youth can enter the open. 
15. Junior are 13 - 17 years (from January 1, 2026). Junior can enter the open. 
16. Senior is 45 years and older as of the date of the event. Senior can enter the open.

DOGS: All dogs must be on leashes at ALL times.

THE ARENA MAY BE TOTALLY REWORKED AT REGULAR INTERVALS THROUGHOUT THE WEEKEND.

AVERAGE AWARDS - YOU MUST BE PRESENT TO RECEIVE YOUR AWARDS AND IN DRESS CODE. 
Each contestant will receive two runs; each run will have money paid out like a go-round. The awards will be given on the combined times of BOTH runs. Awards ONLY will be given for the combined time winners. The purse money will be split equally between each of the two runs. You MUST run both times on the same horse in order to receive awards. In the event of a tie for awards, the contestant with the fastest time run, will receive the higher place award.

All classes will be ran on 2 long go’s. 
Payback will be as follows: All Classes 70% on entry fees. 100% payback on all added money. 
Open and Senior day payouts are 5D with half second splits. Youth and Junior day payouts are 4D Option 1.

The AWARDS will be given on the following division splits: 
1D Fastest Time 
2D 1.0 seconds 
3D 2.0 seconds 
4D 3.0 seconds 
5D 4.0 seconds

DISPUTES AND QUESTIONS 
1. District Directors should be the first person approached during the FINALS when you have a complaint and/or questions or concerns. 
2. If your Director cannot answer the question(s) or handle the complaint, the issue will be brought to and discussed with both State and other District Directors.

Classes

Open 5D $100 fee per run – Open to all, enter as many times as you like (Open Only). 
Youth 5D $25 fee per run – 18 or under as of Jan. 1, 2026 (roll only must enter open class.) 
Senior 5D $25 fee per run - 50 or older day of race (roll only must enter open class.) 
Futurity – $50 fee, 2D 1 second splits $1000 added. Futurity eligible horses for the 2026 season (roll only must enter open class, based on 1st run.) 
Derby – $50 fee, 2D .500 second splits $500 added. Derby eligible horses for the 2026 season (roll only must enter open class, based on 1st run.) 
Peewee $15 fee $200 added – 10 years and under as of Jan. 1, 2026 (no cross entry with any other classes) 
Novice $25 entry fee – Must run, novice horses cannot run in any other class. This class is for novice horses that have not won $500 or a rider that has not won $500 as of September 20, 2026. 
Office fee: $10 per Open run. PeeWee and Novice $5.00.

Entry system is Saddlebook. Pay online or mail a check, checks must be received by the 18th of September no exceptions. The rider pays all Saddlebook and credit card fees. Entries not paid by the 18th will be deleted. 
Futurity and Derby Horse papers must be uploaded to saddle book at the time of entry. 
Top Shelf Breeders incentive based on 1st run only. Enter Top Shelf Breeders on Saddlebook. Different from SMTM.

If you draw out before September 18,2026, you will be refunded in full.

NO SHOWS FORFIET ALL THEIR FEES. 
Vet/ Medical Slips needs to be presented to the race secretary within 5 days after the race has been completed on the Vet’s/ Doctor’s business letterhead. No slips no refunds period. 
Special situations may be considered by the race producer. Their decision is final. Office staff needs to be notified by either a text or email before the start of the Set you are entered in. 
All refunds will be mailed 2 weeks after the race. (This allows checks to be processed through the bank account.)

Dress Code 
Dress Code is encouraged, Photographer will be taking pictures, Dress code is a long sleeve western shirt and hat or helmet. 
Payouts 
70% of the entry fee and 100% of the added money will be paid out in a 5D format for open. 
70% of the entry fee will be paid out in youth, senior and novice. 
70% of the entry fee and 100% of added money will be paid out in a 2D format for the Futurity and Derby. 
Payout places will be determined by the number of entries received. 
Race Rules 
A barrel down will result in no-time. 
A broken pattern will result in a no-time. 
An off-course run will receive a no-time. Any dismount, voluntary or un-voluntary while on course will result in a no-time. 
The decision to award a time, or to post a no-time rests with an appointed “Arena Official” or show management. The ruling will be final. 
Re- runs may be granted for timer or show equipment failure, or interference as determined by the “Arena Official”. 
If a no-time situation occurs before the above – mentioned re-run reasons, the no-time will stand. 
No re-runs will be granted for rider or equipment failure. 
Re-runs can be run immediately, or if the rider chooses, they may run just after a “big rake”. Or at the end of the set. A Tractor drag will be done for the re-ride. 
Poor Sportsmanship or abuse of a horse, other riders or race staff will not be tolerated. Offenders may be warned, or they may be asked to leave the facility at the discretion of show management. Rider will forfeit all entries, stall, office and other fees paid. 
Rider has 60 seconds to enter the arena once your name has been called. 
A horse that is out of control or a danger to other riders may be asked to leave with no refunds. 
Any situation that is not covered by these rules will be addressed individually by the Arena Official and show management. The ruling will be final.

Pee Wee: $5 fees, no added, no office charge. 
Open: (1st race) $500 added, $50 fees; 71-99 entries $750 added; 100 + entries $1,000 added (BRN4D Double Points) 
Open: (2nd race-Roll Only) Minimum $300+ added, $50 fees 
Senior: $20 fees, no added 
Youth: $20 fees, no added 
Novice : $20 fees, no added 
Futurity: $20 fees, no added (Roll Only) 
Derby: $20 fees, no added (Roll Only) 
YBC: $40 fees, no added (Roll Only from: Open/Senior/Youth/Novice) Must be declared at time of entry before running

Notes: 
• "Target" side pot $10 entry fee /no added $/no payout - closest “guess” to actual time ran in the OPEN only will win an award. 
•Office Fee: $10 per horse per race. 
•Late Fee: $10 per person. You may roll your 1st race open time to the 2nd race, must be declared prior to running. 2nd race is ROLL ONLY. 
•Open arena-Saturday: 9am-9:30am. Sunday: None. 
NO horses allowed on grass for ANY reason; 
Do NOT empty trailers on facilities; 
PLEASE clean up around your trailers after your horses; 
Dogs MUST be on leashes at all times; Clean up after your dogs!! Do NOT tie horses to ANY arena fences inside or outside of arena!! Thank you in advance. 
BRN4D, WA06 and WA02 members must pay fees for points to count. 
CBBRC reserves the right to refuse any entry
