Thursday (June 25): Check In Available
Gates Open at 5:00 PM ~ Office opens at 5:00 PM
Arenas (inside or outside) will not be open for riding, but you are welcome to check in and get settled.

Friday (June 26): Alabama State Show-1st Go
Office opens at 9:00 AM
Exhibitions: 10:00AM-4:00PM - $5 each-Pay at the gate
Open 1st Go: 5:00PM- $175 EF - Up to $1000 added (25% of EF to 1st Go; 25% of EF to the 2nd Go; 50% of EF to the Finals)
Coke Race to follow Open (sign up on-site in the office)
$15 per person office fee for the weekend

Saturday (June 27): Alabama State Show-2nd Go
Office opens at 7:30 AM
Exhibitions: 8:00-10:00AM - $5 each-Pay at the gate
PeeWee:11AM - $15 EF -90% PB - 3D one second split format (cannot compete in any other class; cannot have entered the Youth class at any point in the season; cannot be running a competitive youth time; do not have to be a member or have run in 3 shows) (PeeWee awards after big drag before Open)
Open 2nd Go: 12:00PM - Up to $1000 added (25% of EF to 1st Go; 25% of EF to the 2nd Go; 50% of EF to the Finals) (will run in full reverse order)
Youth - $50 EF - Up to $500 added (12 years of age and under as of January 1st of the competition year)(Awards to follow Senior)
Teen - $50 EF - Up to $500 added (13-18 years of age and under as of January 1st of the competition year) (Awards to follow Senior)
Senior - $50 EF - Up to $500 added (50 years of age and over as of the date of the show)(Awards to follow)
Adult Sidepot - $40 EF - Up to $250 added (Ages 19-49 on date of the show)

Sunday (June 28): Alabama State Show-Open Finals
Office opens at 8 AM but will close for Cowboy Church
Cowboy Church - 9:00AM
Open Finals - 11:00AM - Up to $1500 added (Open awards to follow)

How to advance to finals:
20 from each division each round will qualify back to the finals

Saddlebook Entries Open April 6, 2026 at 7AM ~ Online Entries close June 22 at Noon
$15 late fee per rider after Online Entries close on June 22

*Must be a current NBHA member.
*Mush have entered 3 shows in your district since the last Alabama state show.
*Thursday night is available for move in but no arenas will be open for riding.
*Entries, stalls, hookups, extra shavings will be purchased on Saddlebook.com.
*All stalls purchased will come with one bag of shavings. Extra shavings can be purchased on Saddlebook.
*If you want to be stalled or parked beside someone, one person needs to purchase all stalls and hookups.
*Gates will open Thursday at 5PM.
*All entries must be done on Saddlebook but payment can be mailed. Payments must be post marked by May 11 and need to be mailed to NBHA Alabama, c/o Kristy Oldacre, 146 Collins Hill Road, Somerville, AL 35670
*Pre-entries open Monday, April 6, 2026 at 7AM central time and will close on Monday, June 22, 2026 at Noon central time.
*Online entries will re-open on Friday, June 26, 2026 at 7AM with a $15 late fee and will remain open until the first horse runs in each class.
*How to advance to finals: 20 from each division each round will qualify back to the finals. There will be no double qualifiers. If you qualify back in round one and then again in round two, your round two spot will go to the next person.
*The Open finals will be a random draw.
*Youth, Teen, Senior, Adult (Sidepot) will all be one single go round with the option to roll from Saturday’s Open.
*Coke race will enter on site at the show office (no charge) and will be run Friday night following the Open. This will determine who will represent Alabama at the Open world show in 2026.
*Peewee is a true beginner class and CANNOT run in any other class. They also do not have to meet the three show criteria. Peewee entries cannot be running a competitive youth time or have entered the youth class previously.
*Full western attire is required.
*No rider substitutions allowed. Horse swaps allowed until the first horse runs.
*Vet out deadline by June 22 at 7PM. Email vet outs to nbha.stateofalabama@gmail.com. You will receive a full refund less fees. After June 22 at 7pm no refunds will be given.
*Fri & Sat stalls-$85.

*Fri & Sat hookups-$75.
*To add Thurs night is $35 per stall and $35 per hookup.
*Shavings-$8 per bag
*There will be a $15 office fee that covers Friday -Sunday.
